WHAT TO EXPECT

To help you prepare for a visit, here's a brief explanation of what a typical Sunday morning worship service looks like here at Christ's Church.

Like most churches our Sunday morning service consists of congregational singing, prayer, a Bible-based sermon, and weekly communion. Our overall format is pretty informal, but our hope is that our time together every week will be an encouragement to everyone that attends.

  • We typically sing 4 - 5 songs every week, ranging from older hymns to modern praise songs. Most weeks we have 2 - 3 singers on stage with an acoustic guitar as the main instrument.

  • Most sermons are tied to longer sermon series that are planned out by the Senior Minister. We typically rotate between more topical based messages to expositional preaching through books of the Bible.

  • We share in the Lord's supper every week. Prepackaged communion cups are available in the foyer and everyone that claims a saving faith in Christ is welcome to participate in this time with us.

  • Greeters will welcome you as you enter the sanctuary and will have a copy of our weekly bulletin. Additional details about Christ's Church along with current and upcoming church events or ministry opportunities will also be available in the bulletin.

  • At this time we do not pass an offering plate, but there is an offering box at the back of the sanctuary for those that would like to financially support the ministry of this church.

  • You're welcome to fill out a Connection Card as well (located in the seat backs) and let us know if there's a prayer request you have or how we can connect with you directly.
